Sandra Berry Hover   Modern Artist

My technical skills and confidence are informed by the process and material I'm working with at the time.  Both clay and wood give me a traditional physical awareness.  Carving wood, the grain leads me organically as I seek to design the form. Molding clay pushes my hands, moving fast to shape the form with a feeling of expression. Intuition is a daring of the mind, always leading to the unknown.....

Drawing and painting are an extension of my sculptural world. Looking for drama and emotional content, their inner purpose is to show imagination and individuality.
